What is Claude for Work?
A general assistant for drafting, summarising, analysing documents and working through problems. The reason it is listed here rather than lumped in with every other chatbot is that Anthropic publishes a clear, checkable answer to the question most vendors avoid.
Most vendors answer the training question with a paragraph that requires a lawyer. Anthropic’s is a sentence: by default, commercial inputs and outputs are not used to train its models.
The catch is the word commercial. A personal Pro account is a different product under a different policy, and trialling on one before rolling out on the other is the most common way a business ends up with a different answer than it thought.

What to watch on the price
Anthropic replaced its published price list with an interactive sizing questionnaire, so there is no headline per-seat figure to quote. Consumer plans are priced separately and are a different product with different data terms.
Does Claude for Work train AI models on your data?

Anthropic's own privacy documentation states that by default it does not use inputs or outputs from commercial products, including Claude for Work and the API, to train its models. The exception is content you explicitly submit as feedback via the thumbs up or down button, which is retained for up to five years and de-linked from your user and customer IDs. CONSUMER plans, meaning Free, Pro and Max, are covered by a separate policy: do not assume the commercial answer applies to a personal account.
