What is Motion?
Combines tasks, calendar and project management, then schedules the work automatically against deadlines and priorities. More ambitious than a calendar assistant and correspondingly more disruptive to adopt.
Automatic scheduling is only as good as its inputs, and that is the whole review. Given a complete, honestly-estimated task list it produces a plan better than most people build by hand. Given a partial one it produces a plan that is confidently wrong, which is worse than no plan.
The adoption cost is the real price, not the subscription.
