What is Airtable AI?
Structured data with a spreadsheet interface, plus AI fields that can categorise, summarise or extract across every row. For businesses running operations out of a spreadsheet that has outgrown itself, it is the natural next step.
The AI field is the genuinely new thing: apply an instruction to every row and get a structured answer back. Categorising eighteen months of enquiries by type stops being a project and becomes an afternoon.
Watch the seat cost. The moment people who only need to look at the data have to be licensed to look at it, the workaround is a CSV export and you are back where you started.
