What to expect
An evening on the open-weight models coming out of China — DeepSeek, Kimi, Z.ai — and what their release strategy means for anyone choosing a model to build on. Two talks and a panel, with Xiaowei Zhu from AWS and Shaun Smith from Hugging Face, then an hour and a quarter of networking, which is the bulk of the evening.
Aimed at builders, founders and investors rather than a general audience. It runs at the AWS London office, so registration closes into a building-access list: book with the name on your ID, and turn up from 5:45pm rather than at the 6pm start.
