What to expect

Ali Hessami on eighteen months of research into a framework for humans and increasingly autonomous systems coexisting — the standards-and-assurance view rather than the philosophical one. Hessami chaired IEEE 7000 on addressing ethical concerns in system design and is vice chair of IEEE's CertifAIEd programme.

Free, at Endeavour Square in Stratford, and livestreamed if you cannot travel. Refreshments and networking from 17:00, lecture at 18:00. Relevant if you work anywhere near safety-critical or regulated systems; heavy going if you do not.
