A.I. Artificial Intelligence (or simply A.I.) is a 2001 science fiction drama film written and directed by Steven Spielberg. The screenplay by Spielberg is based on a screen story by Ian Watson adapting the 1969 short story "Supertoys Last All Summer Long" by Brian Aldiss.

What to expect
A film club discussion of Spielberg's A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001), which is worth reading twice: the film is not being shown. You watch it beforehand, then turn up to talk about it in the bar at the Rio in Dalston.
This is a philosophy meetup rather than a tech one, so expect a conversation about machine consciousness and personhood rather than anything you can apply on Monday. Free, informal, and you can bring outside food as long as you buy drinks at the cinema.
